Christina Wodtke wrote a story in response to Alan Cooper’s tweet that stated there is no such thing as UX design. “My issue with the debate that ensued is: I don’t think it’s a useful or even interesting conversation to have. Ok, UX doesn’t exist. So what? Ok, UX does exist. So what?”, she says.

I couldn’t agree more. I don’t believe in discussions that are too abstract or hypothetical — they simply don’t help move our industry forward. At that point people are just playing semantics.

Discussions that are too tactical don’t help either. Design is about solving problems, not about keyboard shortcuts or Sketch plugins.
